The drummer is called Harry. Dougie is the bass player.

I hope this is true - I hope you haven't built up my hopes only for them to be dashed by their management.

I remember how unhappy I was when the rumour about Chris Moyles being decapitated turned out to be false. mind you I started it - wishful thinking to be honest...

This rumour isn't true. According to newsround:

' McFly star Danny Jones has not asked to leave the band, despite newspaper reports that he wanted a break. But McFly's record company, Universal music, say the story isn't true and added that the claims have upset Danny.

In a statement Danny said: "I've got McFly in my blood and I'll be in McFly as long as the fans want us."

A spokesperson from McFly's record company said Danny has not: "asked to leave the band to go solo", as the newspaper report suggested.

They added that he has not "been invited to write songs in America with a top production company", nor is he "unhappy with how the band has been performing since the first album".

Danny still has lots of plans with McFly including an arena tour later in 2006, a third album and an already-filmed appearance in Hollywood movie Just My Luck alongside Lindsay Lohan.'

Don't like McFly anyway but there are quite a few fans out there, so this is for you.

McFly aren't better than Westlife.

McFly cover all sorts of music while Westlife stick with pop.

Time will tell to see how long McFly will stick around for.

They won't actually need to split, as they will be dropped in the not too distant future...
