URGENT SMS help

Hi

I was wondering if it is possible for someone to set a phone up so that texts from a certain number go to another phone and not theres

for example if i wanted to send a text to my firned but didnt want the reply to come to my phone but someone elses, is this possible?

i dont actually want to do it, i just wanted to know if its possible- its normaly texts not chat

basically someone is getting messages on their phone and they say that they arent texting the number so i want to know if its possible to text a number but they get diverted to another phone!

No, your number cannot be witheld, changed, modified at all using SMS.

The number is transmitted by SS7

I am sure I can remeber some internet sites that offer SMS messaging, that some of them let of choese what the sender was, ie, a number of your choice (most like to be your own number, so yuo mate knew it was you) or you could pick words. I can not find a link at the moment.

That will be using web based SMS.

If you are using the network operators SMS centre, you have no choice to alter or withold the number.
