OK in past BB's it was all pretty new and exciting

But now everyone has grown used to the statements of riches and fame of the BB contestants. As we all know it isnt true (except Jade)

But is now anyone finding all this after BB has finished stuff quite pointless now? Before i used to read in the papers what they might be up to now and so on. But i think ive got so used to it now that i dont care! you just want to move on and something new.

Although this time around its happened pretty fast, like seeing barrymore on the papers "forgive me" or "barrymore gives his views on the contestants" - i really dont care lol - first its barrymore ! and 2nd BB has now finished, so why keep going on about it!

Anyway does anyone else find this now ?? And also with this in mind, how long do you think it will be before chantelle fades away and becomes not known again or in the public eye

I dont give it very long myself. On graham nortons programme last night ruby wax was kinda taking the micky saying shell only be famous for 2 seconds, which is also fairly true though!

How long do you think?

p.s. does anyone remember reading that orlaith would make 14million after BB? haha, what a joke

She'll be famous up until the next BB starts in the summer, then she'll only be mentioned in forums like this. We'll have a new set of HM's to talk about then

It is not so much how long her fame will last: not very long as the public appetite for BB winners and CBB winners grows smaller and smaller each year. More to the point, when will Chantelle start to give interviews on how CBB has destroyed her life like so many HMs before her.

Not too long 6 months or so...she is tiring as she is pretty vacant in brain dept. GBP will tire of her. She lacks the whacky gusto of a Jade to sustain long term.

I said the exact same thing the other day - but then this thought entered my head - no doubt, along with Preston, Chantelle will be offered to write a BB7 column in the magazines, most probably Heat! Even though I dont particulary want to see her plastered across the newspapers/magazines anymore as I'm bored of her (wasn't interested in the beginning - and seeing Preston's attempt @ creating something out of nothing, romance-wise put me off him in a way, too!), I can see her being around for a good while yet because of newspaper/magazine deals, and a possible BB7 column in a magazine....

it depends what she does.
I could see her doing a kids show as she has a lot of younger fans.
Or she might just marry a footballer and be like Collen who just appears in papers for being a footballers wife

So how come you're still posting in the forum if you don't want to know about CBB now that it's finished.it has.finished you know....four nights ago...and you seem to have watched every programme and know about all the interviews that have been done since then....haven't you found anything else to move on to yet?

They should be made to sign a contract which says that they will never be seen again.

I can't see her being around for too long to be honest, she's a nice girl but nothing special about her. That's not meant to be bitchy I like her but I can't see anything about her that people will want to see more of really (no comments from men thank you )

She was ok in CBB but what else can she do

Her fame will last as long as it took my time to read the original post. Seen as though I got bored and stopped reading it half way through, I'd imagine this post will seem redundant.
Congratulations

I had thought of that myself Lardy. They should be forced to disappear or forfeit the cash.

I don't mind them giving an interview when they leave the house. They can be quite interesting, especially how they viewed their housemates.

However, I do think that when people apply for Big Brother, there should have a clause in the contract that prevents them from signing up to anything else for a period of 12 months.

This could be a good way to stop all the wannabe applicants from applying. It might also get BB back to where it once was, instead of a 10 week audition, that it is becoming.

Once a series has finished, my interest in the housemates can vanish very quickly, as I wait for the next series to start. Some housemates that don't get written about very often, or don't appear on tv, are the ones that I usually want to know about a few months down the line, but only as a casual interest.

Well she cant sing, dance, act, perform, tell a joke or read.

She'll probably be around for a good few years then.
