Its RTV - but not as we know it.

Seems like the way we watch our RTV shows is changing......here's a few recent developments.

The Farm.........no live coverage for the last series, no web feed if I remember correctly

I'm A Celeb.........daytime repeat of overnight live coverage cancelled for the last series.

The Games..........live coverage slashed for the last series.

BB.........no red button for Celeb BB

Space cadets.........very limited live coverage, none during the day

It's obvious that the days of continuous live coverage are numbered. They want us to watch their crappy spin off shows instead, which are multiplying like nobody's business and are unerringly boring and trite. And of course endless repeats of the main show during the daytime

Well I for one refuse to watch any of the crappy spin off shows............

So, if this trend continues, will you lose interest and start watching sit-coms and detective series instead ?

Didn't Space Cadets have a live web feed?....also BB seems to have gone down this route.

Seems the future is via IPTV?

Recent web feeds are all very good, but it's not fun to sit in front of the computer what should be on the TV....but alot of PC's do have video out these days, so the feed via the web can be shown on TV's, if they are within a sensible range of each other.

Bring back the red button, that's what I say....but I can only speak from a Freeview point of view

I can't remember...........but I never watch internet feeds anyway so don't take much notice.

I want to use my computer for posting while the show's on telly.............
