Am I right in thinking that the money generated by the voters texts/phone-calls were contributed to that particular celeb's charities?

If thats the case, where did all the money go from those people that voted for Chantelle? Does anybody know? <puts cynical thought of 'lining endemols pockets' at the back of mind>

It was split evenly between the 10 charities, it was not split per vote as BB is an unpopularity contest up until the last vote so it wouldn't be fair. Chantelle didn't have a nominated charity which is a shame but if she had it would have just diminished the amount given to the others.

I think the overall money was divided equally between all 10 charities, otherwise it would have been unfair that the most hated person earns lots of money for charity cus everyone wants them evicted and yet good people only earn bit for the winning lines

I'm pretty sure that on the night where Chantelle 'officially' became a housemate, Davina said that she had nominated a charity that the money would go to.

was in the newspapers that Chantelle's charity was nominated as Breast Cancer by C4 and so money will be divided between 11 charities

Seems as if this could be an arrangement after the show. To be fair, as suppose that Chantelle could have left the game before any votes were cast.

I'm sure that a slice of the revenue also went towards Chantelle's 25K prize, given that it was hastily arranged and probably not planned as part of the budget. Or did they forget to tell us that she could win money?
