Which recordable DVD?
Just wondering if there was a winner emerging in the recordable DVD format war?

Speaking as someone who has both DVD+R and DVD-R I think the "war" is a phoney one. Both types of disc will play back on most recent players and a wide variety of older ones. As long as you and anyone you send discs to can play them back who cares what format they were recorded in?
DVD+ discs are less common and more expensive at the moment becuase it's a bit newer than DVD- but that'll change and other than I can't see anything to choose between them. Murray |

You could have a look at this link:-
http://www.dvdplusrw.org/ Although it concentrates on DVD+ it also compares and contrasts the two formats. |

I think the format that will win, will be the ones that are on the cheaper models.. as they will be affordable to more people.
So what are there? DVD + R DVD - R DVD - RAM am i missing some ( i am sure i am, not read T3 for while) or do i have them totally wrong? |
