T-Mobile Flext

Saw this new plan where you pay £35 a month and get £180 allowance credit to spend on calls or texts on T-Mobile Pay Monthly or pay £25 and get £60 free allowance.

Seems a good offer but in April when i'm going to get a contract not sure if I will go for that, I have heard T-Mobile do 3G and is so much better than any other networks 3G service but I can't see it advertised on the website can anyone give me some more info on this?

Looks a very good deal, T-Mobile's 3G is very good although its not officially launched - portal is the same as GPRS one though alot faster.

Looking at this deal though, does not look like you get any browsing/internet access thrown in on the flext tariff. I think for this you need one of there web n walk tariffs. I think the flext is aimed at talkers and texters only, not 3G users.

Im not sure that this new price plan is that attractive really. I spoke to T mobile about it, Every call you make will be at a flat rate of 20p per min. Which means for the Flex 30 plan, which is £30, you get £90 of allowance = 450 mins per month talk time with no text.
Texts will be charged at a rate of 10p

Or 200 mins talk and 500 texts. Seems Comparable to the Orange Direct Plan Tariff. But for an extra £5 the flext 35 plan you get £180 allowance as stated above. So thats equivalent of in excess of 600 minutes and 500 texts. Seems a good deal to me, Or just 1800 texts, no minutes, or 900 minutes, no texts. I think it is attractive because you are not as rigid on how many calls or texts you are given. It gives you the freedom to mix and match.

When I spoke to them, there was no mention of the £35 offer.
It went 20, 30, 50 and 75

For fifty pounds you got £235 allowance. I cant remember the rest.

I also asked about what happens when you use up your allowance, after much deliberation the operative told me that you will get billed, but was not sure at what rate

Well the offer is on there website. You will get biilled at the same rate once your allowance is used up, ie 20p a minute and 10p a text. All this information is readily available on there website. Perhaps their operatives need to know the products they are selling a little better.
