Which networks carry this service - and are they included as part of your text allowance?

I know O2 don't, unless you put in a weird code at the start of your message.

Thank you - do you know if they count towards your bundled texts, say on Vodafone?

No a text reciept will not be deducted from your text bundle, not on vodafone pay as you go anyway. I dont believe any network regards a text reciept as a chargeable message.

If you want a text receipt start your message with *0# before the message. You will not be charged for a receipt.

Yes, but T-Mobile don't have the best coverage where I live. Plus I like the idea of the 500 bundle texts for £15 on Vodafone. I reckon between those and Stop the Clock I'll save money on my current deal.

I have been using the 02 delivery reports for nearly 6 months now and they work 98% of the time I find. I started using it after the free 02 weekend when I was not suire all my textes was getting to the other end. 02 been work fine with me for 2 or 3 months. 02 service was I though getting crap a few months back but seems to be fine at lest for now and back to an 99% service.
