I looked with interest at the new flext plans from T-mobile. Unfortunately I am tied into a contract with Orange. They will not match this new tariff from T-Mobile. Does anybody know if Orange will match this tariff in a few weeks? How quick are they too match competitors new tariffs. The customer service lady at Orange had no idea.

They normally match price plans straight away, however, they will only match pay monthly price plans. It sounds to me like you are referring to the T-Mobile 'fix-it' plans, where you pay a line rental, then buy topup cards or use a swipe card to top up?? If that is the case then it doesn't qualify as it is not a pay monthly plan, and orange doesn't offer any similar service, so they don't have the payment infrastructure to implement those plans at the current time!

Hmm, ok, they look alright. I won't get to worked up, I need to stay calm cause I just signed a new contract with orange last weekend.
All I can recommend is that you keep calling orange and badgering them until you get the response you want. Seeing as they are standard pay monthly plans then there is no reason they shouldn't be included in OVP. Though as I mentioned before, normally new tarriffs are avaliable on OVP straight away.
