First time poster here, I hope you're welcome me! I was referred here by Neowin.net, where I'm a regular poster; I hope you guys can help me.

Here's the situation: I'm a O2 Online SIM user, and I have a friend in Panama. She can ring me, I can ring her. She can SMS me, but messages from her appear to be relayed somehow - messages appear to come from the phone number +447797806021 with her ACTUAL Panamanian number in the message itself before the original message appears.

For those of you that have used the online texting service at O2.co.uk, you know what I mean - messages appear to be sent from one number, and then the mobile number of the account holder is placed in the SMS itself. These messages, however, are being sent from her Panamanian phone directly, and somewhere there's some relaying going on to get the message to me.

I cannot SMS her - I am charged for the message but it never reaches its destination. I have tried sending to her mobile number directly, and also by replying to this 'relayed' message.

Any ideas on how I can successfully send an SMS to this country?
