Anyone know the cheapest place (Not ebay) to pick up a Motorola V3X. I can really only see them on contract and i want one on Pay As You Go. Vodafone is doing it for £350 but i'm sure you can get it cheaper than that, any help would be appreciated.

They've recently gone up in price on three's Prepay systems.

£219.99 plus a mandatory £30 credit TopUp will get you the handset on either Threepay or WePay. Total Price £250. Still over £100 cheaper than Voda but still too expensive.

Good Phone though it is, IMHO paying anything over £200 for a handset is madness.

I see what your saying paying over £200 might be steep but at the moment i am willing to pay over £200 for it.

I would rather not get it on Three as i'd rather have it on Vodaphone but lets be honest the same handset £100 cheaper is a good deal. I have a couple of questions but:

Can the V3X be unlocked?

If it can and i put a Vodaphone Sim in it will all the features still work such as Vodafone Live as i remember with an old Three phone i had it couldn't get onto wap?

I probably will get it on Three since it's much cheaper but i'd need the option to change the sim. If anyone can answer my above questions i would appreciate it.

Also don't forget your mates, unless they are on three will get fed-up calling you due to it being so expensive compared to other mobile networks!

It's OK if i got it on Three i would be getting it unlocked if that's possible, went into the CPWH today and the guy in there said they don't even do it non-contract and i should be expecting to pay £390 for it

That's a great deal on 3 but since you can't unlock it i'll have to either pay £350 on Vodafone or not get it at all because that's a bit of a rip off.

I think the only difference is the size and that the V3X is 3g.
