W800i + Bluetooth Headphones - WONT Play Music :(

Here's the thing I have a Sony Ericsson W800i with an on board walkman. I recently bought today a pair of Motorola HT820 bluetooth headphones. I have syncronised them and for phone calls and talking there fine. One thing they wont do is play music which was the main reason why I bought them. Now does any one know how to fix this problem and if there are any quick fixes, also I would be greatfull If anyone knows if I would have to purchase a seperate dongle if so which one. This is terribly annoying why does nothing ever go smoothly, technology is starting to bug me big time!

Thanks

Jonnie

From what i was aware the W800i doesn't let you listen to music through a bluetooth headset.

Won't the dongle work as a sender though?

If you can't use the dongle to listen to music on the w800i, does this mean the same for the k750i?

Can you listen to the radio with it?

Nope but Some people rekon a dongle with A2DP processing is the way to fix this problem, wireless headphones would be nice eitherway!

I dont think that you will be able to listen to music through a bluetooth headset until it has been proven that longterm use of a bluetooth headset which is switched on for a long period of time is safe.
I can forsee that if it was advertised that you could listen to MP3's through the headset, that the firms would be laying themselves open to all sorts of liability claims about long term use etc.
I doubt if anyone talks on the phone using the bluetooth for 3 hours or more, but with listening to music it could easily exceed that.

I dont know if you understand but the motorola headphones are specifically designed for listening to music. This is their primary purpose and thats why I bought them, they are the first bluetooth headphones by motorola but at the moment they do not work with many other devices thats the problem!
