In today's Sun Louis is demanding more money for Shayne to appear on the XF tour and threatens to pull him out if his demands are not met Louis is getting to be quite the master at threats to quit over fees

I think its all a load of nonsense for publicity. There is no way Louis would be able to pull Shayne from the tour as he is signed to Cowells record company. I am shocked at how little the singers are getting though for each performance compared to the profits that the organisers will make.

I think its just another publicity stunt, and its the Sun after all, they talk rubbish all the time.

I mean I am sure most people already got tickets for the tour to see Shayne, they would not be pleased if he would not appear.

If there is any truth in it, then Louis is silly, they all signed the contract to get the same money. And after all Shayne already made lots of money through his huge single sales, and he will make lots more.

I find this difficult to believe, Louis is an experienced manager and he knows that it would be counterproductive and shortsighted to pull Shayne from the tour.
At this early stage Shayne needs all the LIVE exposure he can get to build on his his fanbase and keep him in the public eye in the run up to releasing his next single/album. And let's face it 6 months ago Shayne would have thought himself lucky to earn £500 in a week let alone one night, it's a bit early for Louis to start making prima donna demands on his behalf. If Louis were to try to overturn the terms of the X Factor contract in Shayne's favour he would also be shooting himself in the foot for the next series and opening up a whole can of worms that might see some of HIS acts rebelling against contractual obligations to HIM.
Even if it is true Simon would be a fool to cave in to these tactics since that would open the door to all the other current X Factor artists demanding more money and future ones signing the contracts while thinking they can later overturn them.

Ridiculous story. There's no way this will happen. Shayne was the winner, and like it or not, there will be a lot of people going just to see him.

I couldn't really care less, as I'm only going to see JS, but it doesn't matter, as Shayne will be there.

Perhaps ticket sales haven't been quite as good as expected.

The opposite is true this year. Extra shows have been added as many have sold out. Didnt happen last year.

It would seem Louis continues to be furious. Except this time it's about Westlife. Apparently, he's furious that Westlife only won 1 award.

Think they all sold out pretty quick. I can only find them on ebay at the moment.

I got Newcastle tickets for the 17th. We are roughly the same place as last year (Block 100) but we are about 20 rows back rather than just 2 rows back. It was very difficult to get any tickets for any other place unless you wanted to be right at the back of the arena.

Anyway if Shayne pulls out of the tour i would be really annoyed and would demand my money back.

In todays NOTW it says Shayne has to have an operation to remove nodules on his vocal chords, and it may delay his album?

Not sure if there is any truth in it ofcourse.

Do I remember rightly and Steve needed such an op too?
Which was a reason for his album to be delayed?

I read this today too and Louis is actually interviewed by the reporter about it and mentions that the album could be delayed because of it.

Maybe the nodules are just an excuse to pull him from the show

Remember way back to FA1 ... there was a girl who got through but was removed, its best not to talk even with nodule problems as it can damage the vocal chords permanantly...

I never liked Shayne and cannot believe people would be annoyed just because he was pulled from the shows ...

According to the article Shayne is in Sweden seeing doctors about the problem. He may be alright for the tour but they wont know till later in the week if he will have to have an operation as soon as possible. The album may be delayed though as it is only 90% complete. I think Steve had the same sort of thing last year with vocal problems.

I think people are annoyed, because Shayne was the winner of FX2, therefore he is more important to the tour. It would be exactly the same if Steve Brookstein pulled out of the XF1 tour.

I see that, according to a report here on DS, that Shayne now has problems because he has growths on his voice box.

Shayne is probablys the 3rd most person i want to see at the tour after Brenda and Maria. Now it will cost my mum and I approx £65 to see the tour and so of course people would be annoyed if the winner of the show didn't make an appearence as advertised.

Im sure if you are at the tour and one of your favourite acts wasn't there you may find yourself slightly annoyed.

I see this being frustrating to fans too. It will be a little disastrous if the winner of the show has to pull out because of this. There are many fans, particularly the young, who are attending the shows in order to see and hear Shayne.

Yes, far more likely this is the REAL reason his appearance on the tour is threatened.
