Skype Thoughts and experiences
Hi all
How many of you have used skype on your pc before? i installed it yesterday and am pretty impressed called a couple of my frineds on it and thought hey this is quite good. So im wondering what all you people think about it? |

Was a 5 minute wonder for me. It seems to have been taken over by eBay

Skype's okay. I tried it once and was pleased with the quality but I don't use it anymore.
I've got Sipgate now which gives a real world phone number and voicemail for free. I believe you have to pay for the same feature on Skype (Skype In?). Again quality seems to be reasonable. Just need to get a compatible phone for it. I don't really like being tied to the PC each time I want to make or receive a call. |

Probably better to buy an ATA and use standard corded and/or cordless phones with it.
