Surely not just another token comedy character. I just hope he doesn't have an affair with Hayley.

I have no idea what the point of him is, at the moment I suspect it's just to annoy the hell out of me

Don't really like him much, hopefully he's only in the soap for a few more episodes and isn't long term.

Dont tell me he is staying?
Oh great another panto character, just when we are rid of Diggory we have him to put up with. Corrie is really in the pits, its becoming a joke. |

I think he's a great character. There really are people like that around and the actor's done a good job with it.
People should give him a chance. He certainly is not a panto character - I don't know why you say that. It's not over- played in any way. It's about time Hayley and Roy had an interesting storyline. The great thing about Corrie is that there are stories running all the time which appeal to everyone. Bring it on! |

Sorry to go OT, but trains/trams or any other form of public transport should really not be discussed at length in a soap that, lets face it, we all watch for cheap kicks, not frigging dramatic readings or writers showing off what they learnt reading English at uni. |

Married to a transexual, fancied by a gay man, who might have an affair with the transexual wife, just to split them up. What a headf**k that would be.

Just like I switched off a while back during a bloody long scene in which Claire was talking about her love of trams. Claire's tram/train thing was very silly, I must admit. But this all proves we have our own little obsessions - I certainly do (apart from soaps!) and it'll be interesting to see how other halves deal with it in relationships! |
