Wharfedale
Wilks
17-11-2000
I've just had my Wharfedale player upgraded to play 'Jaws' but there seems to be problems with budget players all the time. I have a little scratch on my 'Shanghai noon' disk which I have problems playing on my machine but my mates Panisonic plays it fine. The same goes for 'Deep blue sea' and 'T2'.
My advise is to stay away from budget players.

Unfortunately, not even the more upmarket players are safe. We've had Pioneers with lip sync problems, Sony with lip sync problems, Philips with Matrix/DVD-Rom content problems, early Panasonics have laser problems etc
