Taking competitiveness too far?!


Why is it that I am disliking Kelly more and more with each day... just cannot believe how she seems to treat Todd Sand who knows his stuff ( 3rd place Worlds 1995, 1996... 2nd place Worlds 1998).

One does need to have some 'bite' to be successful in sports, but I really think Kelly's attitude is extremly counter productive... she should just admit to herself that she cannot skate.

Even though I have critiqued Bonnie, she is lightyears better than Kelly, because at least she has got the poise and grace required.

They did choose interesting photos, because Kelly just looks really bad in that outfit... bit like a Bodybuilder! I do wonder who chooses her costumes, because if she wore more flattering outfits that distract from her figure, that would help, flaunting her muscles like that just doesn't work for ice skating, IMHO.

I couldn't take to Kelly from the first show and nothing since has changed my opinion. In fact if anything, she has strengthened my dislike of her.

I actually feel rather sorry for Todd

She bugs me. End of. If she doesn't leave this week I will stop watching, after the debacle last week.

I really don't like her. Rude, Ungracious and arrogant.

Kelly is clearly fiercely competitive still...not something that will leave her easlily after retiring from athletics.

It must be frustrating that she's struggling with this...think of how comparatively easily Denise Lewis adapted to ballroom dancing...ice dance is arguably a lot more difficult though!

I am sure that Bonnie in her career has worked just as hard to highly achieve as Dame Holmes has....she doesn't ram it down peoples throats!she quietly gets on with enjoying the experience of this show (and I expect, secretly sniggers to herself that Kelly ice dances like a hippo on roller skates )

However Kelly needs to 'chill'- she can re-enter the next Sat night reality show....where celebs train to be olympic gold medal winners........that should sort Bonnie out!!!

I think Kelly will be out this Saturday and I won't miss her!

She should have gone weeks ago.

I hope Kelly goes out this week, not because of her physiqueor her obvious lack of grace on the ice, she tries and thats impressive - but for her nasty attitude. Whether you are competitive or not it doesnt impede you having manners!

It is certainly time for her to go...

Kelly is irritating me more each week. I'm usually a fair person but I really and truly keep hoping that she makes a complete hash of it and is voted off.
She's on a hiding to nothing trying to compete with Bonnie who has natural grace.

Denise Lewis's dancing on strictly come dancing was amazing

If there's any justice she will be gone tomorrow. I'm amazed she wasn't in the bottom 2 last time!

I used to really like and admire Kelly but her attitude in this show leaves a lot to be desired... There's a point where competitiveness goes too far and it turns into bitchiness and she's becoming very childish.

Bonnie is, and always will be, a better dancer than her... Goodness know how many years she's been doing it!

I think Kelly would have a different attitude if this was a competition in athletics... Where she would no doubt win by a mile.

I usually end up liking celebs more as these sort of reality shows based on skills go on, but Kelly just gets more unlikeable unfortunately,

Not quite as annoying (so far) tonight. She actually made fewer mistakes than Bonnie!

I'm not quite sure why people expect to like her. She's never come across very well on television - apart from when she crossed the finishing line to collect her second gold medal!

Well if anybody ought to go out on tonight's performance it should be Bonnie.

She was the pits. She would have fallen twice if her partner hadn't grabbed her and hardly skated by herself at all again.

I just don't know what it is with those stupid judges. Are they watching the same performance as the viewers?

Kelly did a magnificent performance tonight.
