AFAIK John's only directly commented about the whole thing when he was asked to, and only in any detail to the DOI people themselves. They want as much controversy as they can get, it's good for viewing figures. DOI only got a passing mention in 'The Wright Stuff' because 'it's only a TV show'.

The rest of the coments attributed to John last week seemed to be rehash of stuff from other sources, not new interviews.

They were doing it to Kelly to - at least to a degree, some of the 'I want to get Bonnie' quotes were direct copies of stuff I've seen before.

Anyhow that's history now, I hope Sean gets a better run from the press than John did !

We were robbed. I could watch that guy forever, singing, skating, acting... even sitting still. Anyone see him singing "Maria" from West Side Story a few weeks back on the Musicals programme?? Melt.. Yummm.... He is amazing........

That site has the Defrosted clip where he shows his butt (and they also interview his partner) plus songs from the Sound of Musicals and more clips of something called Boston Pops where he does, I Won't Send Roses, I Am What I Am and It Only Takes A Moment. Oh and a Loose Women interview which is hilarious. If you watch it you'll see what I mean when I say lucky Colleen Nolan!!! You can also see what he DID actually say on GMTV as that's on there too. Great site that. Also regarding Olga she's actually posted a message on his official message forum:

I don't put all that much trust in the tabloids, but The Sunday Mail claims John said in an interview with them that he'd been invited back to the show and declined.

I also doubt if John is still furious about it, more likely just gone off the whole thing. That's why I'm inclined to believe we won't see him in DOI Extra, unless they use old footage.

Thanx Selena. Can put it on the same tape that has the Sound of Musicals episodes on it. Speaking of musicals ordered his Swings Cole Porter and Reflections From Broadway cds. Amazon said up to 6 weeks for the Reflections one so I've ordered them from 101CD instead. Says 3 to 5 days from 101CD can cope better with that. Seems they dispatch items individually as a dvd I ordered then has been sent.

Just listening to "Reflections..." now. You're gonna love it! I've got 'Sunset Boulevard' on repeat.
