Kelly this week - I take it back..

I honestly thought she was brilliant tonight and expected slightly higher marks. She even managed to look graceful, not to mention pretty and relaxed. Thought there were some really good moves in there tonight and that ending was quite impressive. Okay the jumps were dodgy, but she managed it well enough. Her skating skills were easily her best yet.

Dare I say it she might be my favourite tonight so far

I liked David's performance the best.

I agree. i wouldn't go so far as to say she was my favourite tonight, but there was a huge improvement in the way she skated and she looked much much softer

I agree, but he hadn't been on at that point

Things feel very reversed this week...

I agree that she was better this week bit I still think she has a long way to go and I would be quite happy to see her go home this week

Totally agree - I even thought that her muscles were less prominent! Thought she came over well when Phillip was speaking to her after the marks, unlike her previous times.
Yup liked her tonight

I noticed that as well. Her legs looked nice tonight. How could that happen?

Top marks to the costume department.

In previous weeks Kelly has had sleeveless tops and the bottom of her costume has been skimpy - can't remember them all but last week she certainly wore just a leotard that showed her arms and legs in their entirety.

I've been wondering why the costume designers didn't put her in something that would hide the rippling muscles.

Last night they gave her long gloves to hide the arm muscles and a soft skirt for the legs - the overall picture was much softer and helped her to look far more graceful than in previous weeks.

I'm not saying that she wasn't massively improved (still a long, long way to go though) but that her appearance was much enhanced by the softer, prettier costume than in previous weeks.

Yes I thought that, it's amazing what a difference an outfit can make.
