Agree with everything said in the last post. Kelly improved this week because she looked at Bonnie and thought 'if you can't beat 'em join 'em. She spent no more than a few seconds unassisted on the ice. Todd lifted her into the next round.

Kelly is only in because she was paid twice as much by Granada as anyone else so they are going to get their money's worth.
I think this lousy show has really damaged her because her single mindedness and competitiveness is just so unattractive.

Like Carol Thatcher in IACGMOOH - she came over so well - everyone saw another side of her/got to know her & loved her.
I agree - Carol Thatcher came over very well, as did Paul Burrell, surprisingly. Shaun has been a good contestant in the ice-skating whereas I hadn't liked him much before. Even Bonnie doesn't irritate me as much as Kelly.

I think John barrowmans 'elvis' suit was his downfall personally...

And I agree some celebrities should just lie low before they make a prat of themselves.......

Doesn't Kelly Holmes epitimise the Olympic Spirit, I thought it was supposed to be all about taking part not the winning. The winning is secondary to the spirit of the taking part. Everytime she is criticised she snaps back about having gold medals. So do Torville & Dean but they don't have her bad attitude. How she stays in mystifies me. It will be interesting to see just how long Holmes manages to stay in because it definately won't be from talent or attitude. I don't think her scowl is good example to young athletes coming along.

CHICO

Chico was an entertainer.
Chico brought a smile

Are we doing Chico a disservice in comparing him to the Dame!

Personally I thought that in previous weeks, Kelly could (and probably should) have gone but was saved by the public vote. However, I think that last week she out-performed Sean in the skate-off. Some people have mentioned that they think she was 'lifted into the next round by her partner'. Again, I've said this myself in other weeks but I saw a large improvement last time.

I love the fact that the judges decide the person to leave on a single performance. It's all very well saying "So and so is capable of so much more so I'm saving them" but that could happen week after week (I've seen it happen on other reality shows) and if they can't perform well when it matters then it's probably best that those who can, stay.

Unless she makes an enormous leap forward this Saturday, I think Kelly will probably be the one to go. She should definitely give up the comebacks though. She's hopeless at them, bless her!
(Incidentally, I've only seen her mention gold medals as a response once. And that was probably after Jason accused her of looking like a man or a bull mastiff or something!)

Would love to see Paul Burrell and his funny expressions in Dancing On Ice!

I bet Todd wishes he'd lay low. After weeks of earache from Kelly she puts him in hospital!
