UK Gold Doctor Who

After alledgedly showing the best episodes of Doctor Who (by who's reasoning????) From the 19th UK Gold are re-running the series from the Jon Pertwee era (obviously minus Terry Nation orientated episodes). What a perfect world it would be if they could show Hartnell and Pertwee episodes at even a graveyard slot, obviously the complete stories that are available.

And I agree about the Hartnell and Troughton stories.

Yep, they did do it in the late 1990s, cycling from An Unearthly Child through to The War Games two or three times late on Friday night/Saturday morning, whilst continuing to show the colour stories in the usual Sunday morning slot. Complete story versions were used, with the exception of 'The War Games' which was split into two parts: 'Part One' being episodes one to five and 'Part Two' was episodes six to ten.
