Is tuner drift possible?
Terry M
13-02-2006
Because I am in an area where I can receive transmissions from two transmitters,I manually tune the 5800 to Bluebell Hill.
On two occasions I have experienced picture, and sound,break-up on both BBC1,and BBC2(but not BBC3,and BBC4).Checking reception on a Pace Twin has shown stable reception.
Rescanning the Topfield produces perfect reception.
Hence my question-is tuner drift possble on the 5800?Or is there something wrong with the manual tuning facility?
