Just heard from a reliable source that none other than Vanessa Feltz will be replacing Davina as presenter of BB7. Apparently she is the stand in for Davina and will take over when Davina takes time off to give birth.

She was on a breakfast programme called RISE few years back and IMO she wasn't very good.

I would like to see Russell get the Davina job, yes he is scary but it would be really different.

I know Vanessa, I actually like her, but it would be hard to think of anyone who I think would be less well-suited. Her strong points would make her (IMO) most unsuited. Don't know who I think it should be but I know who I think it shouldn't be.....And if anybody says Justin Lee I shall be forced to send a slap through cyberspace

She was with Denise Van Outen on something before and also presented Big Breakfast for a while before it got taken off air. She isn't that bad but I just don't see her as being a good person to use for BB, it would be a little weird having a past contestant of BB presenting.

I like the idea of Vanessa doing it because she is a strong character but whether or not she can not show favouritism for some of the contestants, I am not so sure, I mean she gets right into Big Brother like the rest of us.

Personally, I like the idea of Russel Brand doing it, he really has a way of handling people and wouldn't take stick from the crowds, I think he is what BB needs but then who would they get to do BBBM? Maybe Vanessa Feltz.

PS so, I haven't missed much with Kate Lawler then.

Kate was so brilliant on RI:SE that she was given her current major prime-time presenting gig on terrestial television: NOT! She was a complete embarrassment and proved conclusively that she does not possess a natural talent for the role.
Her saving grace is that she gives the kiss of death to failing television shows: so maybe Endermol have decided that she is their cunning plan to get the ratings to an all time low, just as she managed so successfully for RI:SE.
