Does anyone else hate the Patrick/Pat Affair.
I have to say I really don't like this. I loved it when Yolande and Patrick got together and until recently have really liked Yolande's Character. I feel like their going to screw up another great couple. I have only been watching Eastenders regularly for about 4 years but this behaviour seem rather out of character for Patrick as well. Can't Pat ket her kicks from someone single.

I'm not overly keen on this story line either. I don't see the need for it.

Yes, I hate this storyline.. its totally out of character for all those involved and again breaking a couple up - apart from Dot & Jim and the nausating Honey & Billy, I dont think there are any "happy couples" left in the square - even Pauline & Joe feel doomed before they are started. I honestly dont believe that Pat, no matter how much she wants to get out her pineapple rings and whipped cream would go after her mates husband - surely Charlie would have been a better and equally amusing target! The scenes with her taking off her coat and revealing her naked body in the carlot cabin along with the fact that they seem to have aquired a red light inside the cabin and dont bother with shutting the blinds when at it during the day is all very strange ... and how did Patrick manage to accumulate the 6400+ steps on his pedometer? Where did he attach it???

Loosefur you are so right, I missed a whole week and didnt even notice - recent episodes have made doing the washing up seem appealing ... |

Here here here! It's a rubbish storyline, it makes me ill and I think they are trying to turn Eastenders into a joke program and I really don't like it. Keep it real, please!
Also, I hear that
Spoiler
Why, oh why
Spoiler
I was so annoyed with Yolande and criticised her acting on the evening of the slap, as the whole scene was so contrived and overdone, but I have to say now I may well have been wrong; I don't think it's the actors/actresses at fault, but the dumb idiot writers and producers. So be honest, Eastenders is real sh*te at the moment and the only decent storyline in it is the Stacey and Bradley. What's the betting that the production jerks screw up even that storyline?

There really is only one word for it, CRINGEWORTHY!!
Even my mum thinks its horrible to watch. I do agree with Nanamoan that Charlie would have been a more amusing target especially when Big Mo found out about it. These too have a past together and it would make for a better catfight as they could sling past mud at each other!! I think EE is going for the shock-factor with this one, brings back visions of Frank wearing nothing but a bow-tie and smile.................

![]() ![]() The thing is, this whole thing is totally out of character isn't it? I mean, Patrick would never cheat on poor Yolande.

![]() Actually, I thought it would be a really crap storyline but have been pleasantly surprised. But then, maybe I just think it's great to have Pat involved in a storyline for a change. I think she is hilarious and one of the few who can deliver the comic lines convincingly. |

Pat used to be a prostitute and Patrick had a number of affairs in his marriage to Audrey.
So why is it out of character? He's also feeling guilty now
