Steve Brookstein wins music award!
Yes Steve lovers, it has happened!
The winner of X-Factor series one, has finally had his talent recognised by the music industry he tried so hard to crack, with an amazing recognition at the Naomi Awards. Steve Brookstein has been awarded WORST BRITISH ALBUM! The Naomi Awards are there to remind the British public of the very worst that pop's had to offer over the last 12 months, and of course who could forget Steve Brookstein? Oh... everyone apparently. He's actually in "good" company
The full rundown of Naomi 'winners' looks like this: Worst British Male Solo Artist: Lee Ryan Worst British Female Solo Artist: Lisa Scott-Lee Worst British Album: Steve Brookstein - Heart & Soul Worst British Single: Lisa Scott-Lee - 'Electric' Worst Attempt At Rock: Son of Dork Worst Urban Act: Miss Dynamite Worst Live Act: Babyshambles Worst Pop Act: Lisa Scott-Lee Worst International Male Solo Artist: Jack Johnson Worst International Female Solo Artist: Jessica Simpson Worst International Album: Westlife - Face to Face Worst International Group: Westlife Worst International Breakthrough Artist: Pussycat Dolls Outstandingly Bad Contribution To Music: Westlife I'll wait to hear from some outraged Westlife fans seeing as they won 3 awards |

I am not a Steve fan (not into soul music) but I think that list is a load of nonsense!

As I've said before, I agree with all of them except Male singer. There are worse singers than Lee Ryan and he has a fantastic voice. *cough* Peter Andre *cough*
But as for Steve Brookstein. Who is he again?

Westlife are in a different league from all the others in that list. There is no way they should be there after having some of the highest charting singles last year. What is so bad about westlife ?

Regarding Lisa Scott-Lee - at least she had a career. What does Steve have to make him feel better? |

Well, after all the bad press he has had it's a bit of an obvious outcome. I doubt the vast majority of those that voted ever actually heard the album. It becomes trendy to dislike certain groups or singers. People like and dislike who they are told to like and dislike.

What does Steve have to make him feel better? mmm - let me guess - I know - you're not a Steve "fan" as for what does Steve have to make him feel better - well as I don't know him personally I couldn't really say but as he recently got engaged and is in the middle of recording his own album I'm sure that makes him happy |
