Bradley doesn't deserve someone like Stacey
She's mouthy, disrespectful, always in a bad mood and everything Bradley is not. I don't see how Bradley can like her. if Stacey does get together with him I don't think it will last for a long time but then again nothing does when it comes to teen romances. Knowing how Stacey is like she will probably just use and abuse him all the time and take advantage of him being a good guy.

I think they will be good for each other, if they can find a happy medium.

It is my experience of men that when faced with the choice of a kind and loving female or a complete bitch, they will choose the bitch. I guess it's just like women going always for the bad guys! I have no idea why it is, but I do know that there's no point in being patient and understanding with a guy because they'll walk all over you, usually to get to someone who will treat them like dirt!

Got to say I agree with Gossip Queen and Lazylaurablue, in my experience it's always seemed the bitchy girls get the guy.

Stacey thinks she doesn't deserve Bradley, she likes him but has (like some people here) assumed that she will get hurt yet again. Stacey always ends up alone (her dad, her mum, her brother, Kat, Dennis, Ruby), so her attitude is it's better not to bother (ergo her comment about couples always drifiting apart). When she is lonely her defences go up and this creates a vicious circle where she becomes more and more lonely.
She is trying to put Bradley off her by presenting herself in the worst possible light. She thinks if she lets him in he'll just hurt her, so up come the barriers. How easily some forget what Stacey was like with her mother, I think that's the real Stacey. I think that's the part of her that Bradley is fond of, he saw it briefly when he choked on those nuts. Bradley was close to his mother, so it's Stacey's maternal side that attracts him. He can stand up to her bitchy side, and support her caring side, which will give the caring side the upper hand (the negative side of Stacey pretty much staged a coup after Ruby left). |

BTW One could just as easily have said that a violent, volatile man like Dennis did not deserve a good person like Sharon.

![]() Have to speak for myself there, too; nice guys are okay, but have to have a bit of the swine in them too. Still, I reckon that young Bradley is quite capable of being a swine if he wants - take his reaction to Stacey's pathetic and rubbish apology. He told her where to go - good for him I say!

The thing with Stacey is once you are in, you are in. The tricky part is getting in. So if she does let Bradley into her wounded heart, she'll most likely stand by him and support him through thick and thin. She is fiercely loyal towards those she loves, as she has shown with Kat and Ruby.

I am glad Bradley didn't let Stacey walk all over him when she 'apologised' in the pub, it shows her that while she has the power that he will not be walked over. While I think he will be played as the puppy dog for a while there will come a point when it switches. Much like Dennis and Sharon, he always liked her but she never did anything there will be a point where Stacey realises that Bradley is something special to her and the power play will shift. I reckon that they will end up together and that it will really confuse Stacey to be with someone that can actually treat her right.
