Oh, hell yeah! I've watched it again now (and calmed down enough to type!), I absolutly love it when he goes all Glasweigan (sp?). I was never particularly keen on Scottish accents before but when he does it *swoon*!

I wonder what his new ice-capade is gonna be? Can't wait to find out. And 'Torchwood' soon(ish). Woohoo !

I heard rumours of a cinderella on ice for xmas, but not sure how true that may be
and can't wait for Torchwood...wondering if can get other half to go to Cardiff for summer holidays...

I do find it so annoying when they keep asking for phonecalls and emails and then have a 10 year old caller and one email about costumes - someone did say on a post this week that this programme is like a Kids programme - nothing contentious or probing allowed.

How many emailed about doing I won't send Roses with T & D and I bet this was banned from being mentioned.

Anyway it was like a breath of fresh air to see him again.

He was fantastic!!! He made the show come alive, he made it fun! It should have been an hour long with all of the emails and calls that he had!!

John is magnificient. DOI is lacking is so many ways without him there - No sparkle, no life, (and now no bloody Sean either - what is going on???)

How could John have been voted off? it's ridiculous.

The Cinderella on Ice does sound like reasonable rumour of what he could be doing skating wise. If it was that would be great, I'd definitely have to persuade my other half to take me!

The questions they put to him were fairly rubbish on the show though, they must have got better ones than that.

It reminds me of a kids show, so they let kids ask the questions.

I'm sure they got sackfuls of mails I agree with Denisemdl feels like a kids programme

Eventhough I really enjoyed the show tonight I found myself really missing John. He just brought that something extra to the show for me, that extra spark. At various times during the show, I started thinking about how much John would have enjoyed this. It would have been just up his street.

I missed the show last night, but I can imagine that he would have enjoyed props night!!

Thank christ I go out on Saturday nights or I'd be pining for him worse than ever! But I though the exact same thing when I heard about props night - I would'a loved to have seen John do that! Having said that, there is the huge potential for serious injury as Pam proved , so maybe I'm glad he got to quit while he was ahead - so to speak!

It really is p*ssing me off reading the hero worship on this forum for Stefan

i really like the lad and i know he has improved, but even i knew he was nowhere near as good as John and he was the one that should have exited that week

could you imagine the show john and olga would have been putting on for us if they had been still there

and all the crap about Stefan being the only one to do a overhead lift, do you honestly think if john and olga had been still in that they wouldnt have done one before now

i hope Bonnie or gaynor win because because by rights john and olga should be still in and stephan shouldnt

as for david they are tyhe next ones to go

John & Olga were my favourites, and I still regret they're gone, but I don't think that's entirely fair to Stefan.

IMO Kelly should have been the one to go in week 4 not John or Stefan. I've posted my thoughts on the voting system and I won't repeat them but I've not watched the show live nor voted since week 4.

Given John and Stefan in a skate-off it's still not Stefan's fault the judges picked him - he didn't have a vote. I think the judging has been very poor all along but that discussion was done to death in the 'What are the judges thinking thread.

Olga posted in that thread saying she thought the judges made the right decision in choosing Stefan over John, and John is still clearly friends with her

I agree John would probably have done an overhead lift by now if he was still in - he was the first to do a death spiral and didn't bash his partner in to the ice doing it - but as things stand I reckon Stefan's the most improved from week 1.
