James Alexoundrou (Martin Fowler) appeared on GMTV this morning and Kate asked about how Kathy would die and he wouldn't say so Kate said something like 'wont that Nazi EE spokeswoman let you?'. Thinking she said Nasty, I thought fair enough.

However she repeated it again. I thought it was a bit sick of her to call her Nazi, just because she wouldn't let James tell us all that Kathy dies in a car crash. The PR woman looked embarrased for her. What are your views?

She does have a bit of a speech impediment - are you sure she didn't say "nasty". If she did say "Nazi" it was certainly a bit OTT.

Nobody on GMTV seems to like EE for some reason.

No,GMTV presenters genuienly don't like EE.

When they do what to watch they always do Corrie when it has really dire episodes and don't meantion EE even if it's a corker.

But i guess Corrie is ITV

It's on ITV1 so there probably not allowed to mention it, as There rivals and don't like each other.

Yeah, not allowed to mention it - so they interview one of the characters and the PR person.

Because it's the anniversairy of EE.

I remember they had a huge cast together of Corrie on GMTV when Maria dyed Vera's hair pink.

And they invited Martin for EE's 21st year

I bet they'll blame the pregnancy and her hormone levels for what she said!

On a side note, how far along is Kate? She looks like she's about to give birth any second.

But GMTV isn't ITV! It is it's own station that has bought airtime from ITV, so they don't really have any excuse to not like EE. Anyway, it's not as if BBC Breakfast would come live from the Corrie set, works both ways really.

GMTV is part owned by ITV, I believe.

I also heard rumours that ITV want to buy the rest of GMTV, but don't know if that's going to go ahead or not.

75%, but I don't think they have any influence over it. Or maybe they do.

They are, and even though ITV owns a lot of it they still don't appear to have much control over it as it still gets in the way of live F1 etc.

So I think the comment would be more to do with personal opinion rather than the fact that Corrie is on ITV, which is a separate channel that only starts at 9:25.
