The day has arrived for Donna and Marlon and Viv and Bob who are to tie the knot tonight in a hour special. It is the morning of the double wedding and whilst Viv panics over Bob's disaperance, Donna worries that she hasn’t been completely honest with Marlon about Max and she heads off to the Dingles’. Donna reveals to Marlon that she had loved Max King who perished in the Sugden's car crash last year.

Jean turns up at a hotel to pick Bob up, telling him she has come to take him to the wedding. In the car, when Bob points out that she has driven past the turning for Emmerdale, she slams on her brakes and begs Bob to give their relationship another chance. She locks the doors of the car and tells him he cannot get out until he promises to go back to Spain with her.

Bob tries to let her down softly but she refuses to back off. But Bob finaly manages to break free from the car and his crazed ex and he gets away heading back to the Village. But as she drives off - Bob is left miles away from Emmerdale.

Back at the village Viv accepts that Bob isn’t coming back and calls the wedding off. As she heads to the bridge alone, Bob jumps out of a car and explains to her that Jean had abducted him. She is not convinced and throws her bouquet at him which pushes him into the river. As Viv turns to head off, Bob explains that he has had a vasectomy reversal and that is why he gone.

With everything in place and both bride and grooms ready to get married could anything else possibly go wrong?

Hour special written by John Chambers

Well seeing as you have both posted within a minute of each other I guess it means you both started the thread sort of and therefore there will be no fight as anticipated by Planetnokia on last nights thread

Well one of them is wrong, the ever faithful Emmerdale Past & Present has Sarah Bagshaw as writing today's episode.

But it could be either one, as they both tend to write the big episodes! Will just have to look on the credits.

Does anybody think Bob's son is an awful actor.

I find his so false and unconvincing.I hope he's not in the show too long.

Bob's son is a terrible actor IMO - He doesnt look anything like Bob - his hair is wrong every thing. Emmerdale could have done alot better.. 28 mins.

Why are you going out or are you watching the normal episode of EastEnders? ll just wait till 10pm on BBC THREE.

And I am not going to be on here when Emmerdale is on as it allways puts me off.

Oooh, tough one. I'd watch the first half, but that's just me. It would be stipid though because then you'd have recorded a half of the show even though you'd already seen it. Hmmm....
