The props

This week as we probably all know the skaters have to incorporate props into their routine.

Bonnie= a feather Boa
Stephan= a broom
David=walking canes
Kelly= a chair
Gaynor= a tophat

This is all very well but surely skating with a chair is more difficult that using a boa?

It will certainly be interesting.

Kelly could be sitting in the chair!

She could!
But I saw her practising on extra earlier and she seemed to be shoving it round a bit.
Although Todd has got a whiplash injury today and they aren't sure if he will even be able to perform on Saturday yet.

So she might need a new partner - someone she hasn't practiced with. Well that should be good for a few sympathy votes - thwarted again!

Thats what I thought too. I'm getting more cynical in my old age!

we saw a bit of stefan and kristinas practice on dancing on ice thing that is on at 530 every evening and by the looks of it, it is just helping him fall over lol but you know the tv producers they will just show him falling over because it makes better tv

Stef says that some of the clebs are having trouble with their props and that it's going to be an interesting night! might sort out the sheep from the goats at last.

If Bonnie uses that feather boa to keep her balance by holding onto Matt I'll scweam.........You know the rest!

i was thinking that surely kelly's chair and stefans broom are harder to skate with than a top hat and a feather boa. but then again if stefan and kelly nail their performances with the chair and broom, they will be great

one would hope that they would get marked according to the difficulty factor of their prop

I really hope they do!
From what I saw of them practising the broom and the chair look much more difficult and they seemed to be doing quite well.

I was told that Kelly pushes her chair around the ice - this could prevent her from falling over.
