I reckon the next card that the Platts receive should be a musical card, which when opened plays:

"Cos it's always you and me.. always"

That would spook them out

I remember that vividly.

'...always you and me, always, and forever'...(Sarah's high pitched scream as the car drives into the canal)

It was great, though I never quite worked out how the song managed to play for like 10 minutes... Maybe Richard had it on repeat, ah, that must've been it.

Not a continuity blip by TPTB, never.

It was played for AGES, don't you remember? All through the garage scenes, then in the car chase scenes?

Oh yeah! Ha ha, I remember now, yeah, he turned it on in the garage and said it was Sarah's favourite song or something along those lines, and the song seemed to be never ending. Just repeating the chorus.

Was great though as Corrie never use music over scenes, felt special.

The last time they used actual music over the scenes was Christmas 2004 AFAIK. They don't do it often, but when they do it on those rare occasions it doesn't seem cheesy at all. Just nice.

Christmas 2004? What was that? Fred Elliot talking over all the families? Or the brass band over Karen's leaving?

It was when the guests all came back from the wedding and Fred was smiling because the street was covered in snow. I'm not sure what song it was, it may have been 'White Christmas' but don't quote me on that, it was a classic Christmas song like that. I remember the original, long version of the Corrie theme they used when Karen left, that was beautifully used as well.

On a black background I wonder if anyone has a video of that
