You might recognise the author of tonight's episode, as it is the one, the only Tony Jordan.

Well it might as well be. The title is very misleading otherwise.

I still think we should just use this thread, but now the title has been edited, I don't really mind.

Well, officially, the 21st Anniversary is Sunday. But we could have a little celebration on here, celebrate the anniversary weekend.

19 February 1985 - Eastenders began

Over 21 golden years Eastenders has shown such great storylines

6 Months to live
SharonGate
Ian and Cindy
Tiffany and Grant
Janine's Downfall (or should that be Barry's)
Who shot Phil
Ello Princess
Dens death
and the best off all

KidneyGate and The funfair

"Cor it stinks in ere" 21 years on and these words ring in Eastenders Fan's ears!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/eastenders/birt...hday_hub.shtml

So lets Raise a toast to

EASTENDERS

I still think EastEnders today is a pale comparison of what is was in the mid to late 90s, that was my all time fave era I just loved the characters and stories and realism. That was EastEnders at its best, 2000 saw the decline with the arrival of the Slaters.

How about I bump this so that we can discuss all the history of EE in this thread instead of individual ones

I just looked at the first page and there are loads of 21st anniversary ones for EE. People like to use loads to do of individual ones when it makes sense to just use one instead
