It would depend on the type of number that Skype use for incomming calls.
01 and 02 numbers will be charged at your providers rate for calls to 'normal' landline numbers. 056 numbers are charged close to 01 / 02 rates on BT 08 numbers such as 0844 / 0845 / 0870 / 0871 etc will be charged between 1ppm and 10ppm from BT land lines (depending on the code used) |

It costs exactly the same as ringing a standard landline number - because thats all it is.
You can choose from a few different area codes, the big cities mainly Birmingham, London, Manchester etc and so the person ringing you won't know that they are ringing Skype. If someone has a special call package e.g. Telewest TalkUnlimited and BT's 5.5p/hour at evenings and weekends then skype numbers will be included in this as well. You have to pay for a SkypeIn number however, it costs €10 (£7) / 3 months or €30 (£20) / year and comes with free voicemail also. |

For better rates, and no charge for incoming number, and more area codes to choose from, you'd be better off with www.sipgate.co.uk
