I hate people rating episodes at all, let alone in advance. Bit of a slow one tonight, though this is the first time I've seen corrie in a while

Ken, Deidre and Blanche should go and tell Steve what she's done, and he could apply for total custody of Amy. and probably get it.

Tracey - what a b**ch

A good episode. Liked the scenes between Eileen and Emily, I wonder how Emily will react at Eileen wanting to carry on seeing Ed?

Tracey is so selfish! I liked how Deidre tried to scare Tracey, obviously it was never going to work, Blanche had some funny lines.

I wonder if Kelly's tramp friend will be a regular, I surprised she gave the money back.

7/10

Not as good as Wednesday's episode but still better than the Sunday / Monday episodes.

The most interesting stuff was, of course, the aftermath of Emily telling Eileen about Ed murdering Ernest. Of course, a murderer coming back into the live of his victim's family raises a lot of questions, none of which have a 'right' answer. No doubt many will agree with Rita, that Ed should try & live a better life elswehere without bothering Emily.
Others will support Emily & her desire for revenge whilst others no doubt agree with Eileen with the view that one event in the past doesn't necessarily shape a person & make them incapable of change.
It was interesting that Steve was instrumental in spreading the gossip to a wider audience given that his Dad Jim is still serving time for killing Jez Quigley. No doubt he'll want Jim to be given a second chance wheh he's released so you would have thought he might have given some consideration as to how the spreading of such gossip would affect how other people treat Ed.

I find it a bit difficult to believe that Jo has told David about the cannabis plants, given that she's known him less than a month.....

The Barlow storyline has the potential to be interesting but if Ken says "what?" is that same tone again in the future I'm going to throw something at the TV. The Barlows seem to have selective memories as they talked about how Tracy was a good mother (no doubt they've erased her attempt to sell Amy to the Croppers from their minds) but it was good to see Deirdre stand up to Toxic for once rather than turn all wimpy like she did during the Steve / Toxic custody battle. As usual, KF proved to be the weakest link in the chain, her facial expressions doing little to convey any emotion whatsoever.

7 out of 10.

Another nice Battersby free episode.

The Barlows deserve their predicament for being as soft as $hite with Tracey for years.

NOOOO. Killing is too good. Make her SUFFER!!

Why did I think Deirdre was considering going to the Social Services when she lost the battle with Toxic? Something about the expression on her face?

Loving the Emily storyline. Showing what a great actress Eileen Derbyshire is. I hated the character Ernest. He was a throbbing BORE in my opinion, but at least his 'resurrection' has given Emily a story.

I enjoyed the episode on the whole. Loved Blanch as usual, even Ken & Driery were good.

What a truly wonderful episode.

I always love a good Barlow barney and tonight's was no disappointment. Kate Ford was truly outstanding tonight as a cold and calculating bitch.
Blanche, Deirdre & Ken were wonderful also.

Eileen & Emily stuff is proving wonderful too with superb acting from all involved. Had to laugh at Norris when he came out of the front door and straight back in again

I thought that it was a wonderful episode last night with both major storylines being very strong

the battling barlows are always fun to watch, especially with Blanche in the middle to stir things up. tracey is awful as a mother and I wouldnt be suprised if Steve goes for custody as Tracey if she remains with charlie and doesn't live with her daughter then she could be relinquishing her rights as the main parent. The story a while back when they went to court mentioned what a poor parent she is and this could be just the thing that Steve needs to make him apply again for better access to Amy.

I feel so sorry for Eileen and Ed, she is in love or at least infatuated and he came back to apologise to Emily with the best of intentions. I have only watched the show for 18 months so i am not knowledgeable about Emilys husband and the robbery in which he was killed but I suppose that the survivours of such a crime, those that lost someone, are often the forgotten victims and it seems to have hit poor Emily very hard, and what with Rita being upset at the moment about the break in part of her emotional support network has gone too.
