Charlie and Tracy - Corrie
It's finally clicked with me just now the potential this storyline has... I'm not a big fan of either character, but i'm thinking back to the other night when Tracy was in the Rovers, boasting to Shelley that Charlie could never control her... yet tonight, he is doing exactly that. Is she going to end up going down the same type of route as Shelley... being controlled by Charlie...?!
Actually looking forward to how this is going to unfold now... |

I'm loving the storyline but hope she does't becuase Charlie needs something fresh. I think she hsould get pregnant, see how they cope. Perhaps kid is disapled and Charlie changes.

I can't enjoy them and I have tried. Charlie in particular is played so ubelievably bad by Bill Ward. That stupid laugh he does when he opens his whole mouth is just cringe inducing

Tracy doesnt deserve to have Amy as her daughter at all. She is so out of order dumping her on Ken and Deirde and up and leaving her just to live with Charlie on her own. Ken and Dierde should report Tracy!. Tracy aint fit to be a mother to Amy the way she treats her.

i think it would be a good storyline if tracy got pregnant to charlie and steve fought for custody of amy, surely steve wanting amy is obvious, i havent heard anything like this mentioned.

I agree Steve should definetley get Amy the only problem is what then. I think (I know bad idea) that Ronnie is leaving, I'm glad she's so boring. But him just raising Amy will be exceedingly boring. Any women around for him?

just had a thought, tracey wouldnt be able to fight steve for custody of amy if she wasnt planning on having amy live with her, so this could be a good storyline to see how far charlie can actually control tracey, if ken and deirdrie are both pushing tracey to fight for amy and charlie is pushing her to let amy go this could be a good 'how far will charlie go' storyline

Wouldn't it just literally be repetitive?! And I don't believe Tracy would ever let herself get into the same state as Shelley. Tracy has met her match in Charlie. Steve was a doormat but Charlie will stand up to her. As for Amy. Poor little mite is best off out of the situation. |

Poor little mite is best off out of the situation. So he wasn't going through the motions with her at all,and if he really loved Toxic - which I don't think he does, except in the physical sense ... then he'd take her daughter as part of the package and he doesn't want the whole package, does he? Amy interferes with sex anytime any place anywhere. That seems to be what he loves Toxic for. And the fact, as he IS a control freak, he needs always, TO control. And he can control them better when he's living with them. |

But if they did it right, Tralie could be done so much better than the Sharlie storyline.
Firstly, Tracy is renowned for being such a hard faced cow, she doesn't take crap from nobody. So, it would be interesting to see how far Charlie would actually go with her. And there would always be that warning that Shelly gave Tracy at the back of Tracy's mind. I wonder... |

It's difficult to see what Ken and Deirdre can do about it. If Tracey says "I'm going anyway, whether you agree or not" then they must take care of Amy, what's the alternative? They won't put her into care, they surely won't ring the Social. They're her grandparents, she's family. And this is what Tracey is banking on.

Charlie has a habit of splitting mothers and daughters up, first Shelley and Bev, now Tracy and Amy.
I don't care how much Tracy protests she loves Amy, NO man would dictate to me "it is either me or your kid" because they would not like the answer . But are we really surprised she has dumped Amy, after all she sold her to Roy and Hayley |
