I attended this last night and it was a thoroughly good night.
The orchestra was brilliant, Kit and the Widow were hilarious, and G4 were on top form.

Well worth the trip.

I was also there... It was absolutely fantastic... Easily one of the best G4 concerts I've been to over the past year!

They sang:

Nessun Dorma
My Way
Au Fond du Temple Saint
La Donna E Mobile
You're The Voice
Bohemian Rhapsody

I was so overwhelmed by the two new classical pieces (Au Fond du Temple Saint and La Donna E Mobile) that I was shaking afterwards... You just had to be there to see the full extent of their passion.

It was absolutely incredible!!!

Nothing new? How do you mean?

They performed 3 songs from their first album and 3 from the new album.

Listened in to the broadcast on radio 2 on Friday night. G4 were magnificent. Absolutely fantastic. They have amazing live voices and the audience were hugely appreciative! It was lovely to hear the interaction on Youre the Voice and Bohemian Rhapsody.

And considering that a large part of the audience were Mermaid theatre regulars and not specifically G4 fans - the audience re-action was even more wonderful to hear.

The whole show was a treat from start to finish. The orchestra was wonderful (and G4 sound even more special than normal when they sing with an orchestra!) Kit and the Widow were hilarious and Paul Gambuccini was an excellent host.

What an honour for G4 to be asked to do the show - I was so proud of them. They have such a great talent.
