Do you still not see the logic behind the codes? B is the first B in
BBC, and the number is the channel number:

The higher-numbered BBC channels need more explaining, but since they appear in the following order in the Freeview line-up, they are effectively (to all intents and purposes) BBCs 5, 6, 7, and 8 respectively.
