Dear fellow digitalspy members,
Please join me in wishing eastenders a very happy 21st birthday and many more happy birthdays to come. Thank you Tony Hollad and the late Julia Smith for creating my favourite programme, a programme I look forward to watching every day. This is the place for all digitalspy's eastenders fans to wish the show a happy 21st birthday and to express what Eastenders means to them.

Shocking fact:

If you've been watching eastenders since day 1 (19th of feb 1985) you have spent a total of 5356800 seconds of your life watching it. Thats 64 days and 7 hours!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY EASTENDERS

Love it or hate it, without doubt it has provided some of the best Drama on TV in the last Twenty One Years. Not always at its best, however always there it has become one of the iconic programs of the last two decades.

I will rasie a glass to everyone past and present who has set foot in walford and in particular, Julia Smith, Tony Holland, John York, Matthew Robinson (who have both been pivital to the show (along with the first two)), Wendy Richard, Adam Woodyatt and the queen victoria.....

.. Here's to Walford

I will never get those 64 days back (not including the omnibus editions or ukgold episodes!) Was it worth it?
