Hiya! Im thinking of buying this phone for around £169.99, from Orange or Carphone Warehouse.
Is this phone good? Does anyone have any problems with it or anything they really like?
One last thing, can it be unlocked? Either from home or a phone stall/shop?

Thanks!

I got one on Friday 17th Feb.

It features a 2 Megapixel camera, auto focus, the camera will automatically turn on when you open the shutter. Also features a FM Radio with RDS, 32MB external memory and a 64MB memory stick duo included (upgradable to apparently 2GB!!) MP3 Ringtone/Playback and more!

Full Specs Here!

Are you happy with it? Have you got any problems?

Thanks for the reply by the way

Also, I have got a PSP, it came with a 1GB Memory Stick Pro Duo. Can I swap the SE's and my PSP's around? As I dont need 1GB for my PSP, 64MB will suit nicely

Only problems I have heard about are usually joystick related. I had one where the joystick just failed, others have had it stick but it usually gets worse and worse, and then need replacement.

Should be able to stick the 1GB in the K750i and it would work, might need formatting while it's in the phone as it would have been in the PSP

If you press the vol. up/dwn button in standby mode, it gives you the status of the phone including batt life in percentage. Right now mine is 59% full, that's with being on all day yesterday, texting, 1 phone call, music and camera

Take it easy. I didn't say everyone had a problem, but the only problem I have heard about is the joystick.

Found the following after 2 mins on google:

Yep in Phones4U £169.95 on O2. They also sell it on Orange & T-Mobile

Another thing i think you should know is the fact that when you plug the supplied USB cable into the PC, the phone charges itself off the USB port while you are transferring files, cool eh?!

My T630's joystick gave up at 11months. I took it to the O2 shop and it was sent away for repair. It came back with a totally new front on! I sold it when I upgraded to my K700i, which is now developing joystick problems at only 5 months old!

Sony Ericsson phones are, IMO, some of the best available. I'm sending mine away for repair soon, and when the time comes to upgrade, I'll stick with SE!

Yes you can, its the reason why the memory cards for the SE 750i and the W800i are fairly expensive compared to other memory cards , people need them for their PSPs

more likely because only sony use them. if they were used by more devices they would be cheaper.

Two annoying things I can't seem to work out are...

-Turning the camera noise off when taking a photo? It's only silent when the phone is actually on silent.

Plus...

-Having the phone vibrate and beep when ringing as appose to ringing and vibrating.

Only small things but if anyone could guide me... No manuals I've read seem to mention either.

Thanks

i had a sony erroicson k750i what feels like a lifetime. its the best phone iv had by far. screen quality is awsome compared to out else and the camera is fantastic. iv had no problems what so ever with the phone. the mp3 player is far better than that on any of the samsungs iv had you can do loads with it. SE are deff the best phones about at the min. iv dropped mine a couple of times too and its still working fine.

All new phones sold in the UK should make a noise when you take a photo to stop the peado's from taking secret photos of others.

Sadly, anyone who wants to do this probably knows how to flash the phone too with software from another country

Can this phone be unlocked? Also, can any recommend which network to get it on if it can be unlocked.

I was thinking of getting it on O2.
