Philips Cordless Phone/Answer Machine DECT2254S/05
Hope someone can help - not really sure that this forum is for this sort of thing but here goes.
Bought the above quad pack of phones with answer machine in January and they are great but I have two problems with them. Firstly, when someone rings whose number is in the phone's phone book it only shows their number on the display and not their name - and we are subscribed to caller ID. Any ideas why? Secondly, when a phone call is finished and the red button is pressed all the handsets in the house play a short version of their ringtone for a few seconds. This is very annoying and confusing as people think the phone is ringing and go to answer it. Can this be turned off?

If the phones can be used to contact each other, ensure that the internal calling button isn't being accidentally pressed when an external call is being ended.
