Nothing to do with BB I know, but I thought I'd post this for anyone who has tickets for this concert or are planning to go.

I love live music of any kind and I went to this concert with my husband, our daughter and our granddaughter, who's 5.

It was absolutely brilliant... much better even than we hoped it would be. Chicco, Nicholas, Maria, The Conway Sisters, (who I have to say, were never my favourites ) Brenda, Journey South, Andy and Shayne were all there, mostly doing songs from the show and there were also three of the worst from the auditions, who were just hilarious!

The production was first class too. Before each act came on, their 'journey' from auditions to the finals was shown on big screens and there were lots of clips with the judges' comments etc.

Journey South were really brilliant on stage and Shayne was absolutely gorgeous!

It was a brilliant night's entertainment and if you have tickets, you really have something to look forward to.

my sister went to the Newcastle gig and she really enjoyed it too.
she said Journey south and Andy were fantastic. Shayne got a fantastic response but he mimed.
Oh and apparently the conways got some boos.

Can't remember well.

I think the dancer's name was Simon Sanyill? He was dark skinned, wore glasses, very camp and looked like his bones were made of rubber. He'd absolutely no timing. I think he did a Brittany Spears song at the auditions.

The screaming singer. I think his name was Robert King. He had a huge round face, glasses and very little hair. Looked like he was up for a fight!

The really thin girl with strawy bleached hair and funny teeth who growled rather than sang. (sounded as if she smoked 80 a day!)

Well two of them sang (or rather roared) 'My Way', while the really camp dancer just leapt about the stage as if he was on speed! It was totally hilarious and the cheers they got were fantastic!

Shayne mimed?

That's so wrong a a live gig He has already shown he can sing live, it's pathetic they are making him mime

I liked Shayne and was looking forward to the gig on Fri - I saw Journey south a couple of weeks ago and they were great. Not looking forward to it so much now.

but hasnt shayne got something wrong with his throat and he has to have an operation on it thats why the album may have to be delayed until june.

Apparantly quite a few singers get what he as got (cant remember the name of it iit might begin with an 'n') It can be caused from over work of the singin voice or something like that.

Pebblebeach. Shayne mimed his new single. That's all. They have to show the single with all the orchestration and engineering, so that it sounds like it will on CD and you'll go out and buy it.

The rest of his set was live and he was EXCELLENT! Don't think you'll be disappointed, because I'm sure you won't.

And Yes. Journey South were fantastic.

It's called Nodules Suranne. I heard that about Shayne too, but the way he was singing, I think it must just have been a rumour.

He was fantastic on stage. He looked like he'd been doing it for years.... a very natural entertainer, full of energy. There was no way any of the others could have opened the show how he did.

One thing we did notice during the show. It was really funny to hear them singing each song right through, rather than just a minute or so during the competition.

It's so nice to hear Chico get such good reviews!! He only did 2 songs but they were both fantastic and his dancing was fab too!

Go Chico go!
