Sounds like a good title, but I won't believe it until I see is posted on the BBC site (or Outpost Gallifrey's news page).

Issue #367 of DWM confirms this!

...took OutposttyGallifreyville two weeks to "print" the info.

Yawnsville.

Why doesn't the BBC CULT site have MORE up to date information? They're the BBC for heavens sake.

Time to take the DOCTOR WHO in-house to BBC WALES and treat the site with a bit more "UMMMPPHHH" !

I must admit the left arm doesn't seem to know what the right hand is getting up to.

you are kidding! That site was fantastic during the last series and it's bound to be the same again soon. A new look every week to tie in with the current episode and all the related sites (eg Clive's DW page and the UNIT site)?

What more do you expect them to do?

Have to agree with you on that, Stuart.

The last series was very well served with websites. In fact, discovering them all was part of the fun for me.

The Last one (which was on a week before the Parting of the Ways) made my old computer crash, or slow down tremendously. All those Daleks going 'Exterminate'!

They're all still there - I think you have to click on the individual episode titles to find them.

Really like the CybusCorp site. Have you taken a look at it? Very nice design and quite inventive of the person who created it.

Now, we all know you can't trust IMDB's data in the slightest, but someones sent them some (presumably) dodgy info that is at least quite funny...potential Life on Mars crossover?...

Clicky Clicky

Sounds like mischief making to me! They wrapped on this story a while ago so surely the casting of John Simm would've made it into the papers or DWM..especially given ths success of Life on Mars. And who the hell is Samuel Tyler?

Interesting that JB is in the cast list too..especially as he was doing Dancing on Ice at the time!

Now thats odd - its bullplop. BBC Wales wont go to those areas - if they did, it'd ruin both shows. Just because a character has the same sirname as another character - I mean, cmon, I mean, god, y'know? Cmoffit!

It's not just teh surname, it's the same actor, and same character name. But, I'm pretty sure it's also rubbish, since IMDB have a track record of bogus/incorrect/incomplete info....

With all the cameos/crossover elements in the next series RTD will be able to launch the Doctor Who knitting pattern!

Will believe it when I see it as they say unless someone has got a cast iron reliable source that can confirm it.

That IMDB entry just confirms how full of BS the internet can be.

true but at some point we have all been suckered in by something we've read or heard and then go on to repeat it on a forum or to a friend...perhaps the person did add it in good faith. there again there are those who thrive on making these things up.

Here you go, BG - hot off the press from DeAgostini. Have a "knit your own K9 teacosy" pattern.

Told you so! All this talk of spin offs has started the marketing folk foaming at the mouth with the merchandising opportunities..the teacosy is just the beginning mark my words.

I believe that the approval process for an entry in IMDB has been tightened up considerably in the past year or so.

It's no longer a case of just anyone being able to submit an entry or amend it - you need to supply credentials that are checkable (and checked) before the listing appears.

Therefore, this suggests to me that entries like this (plus the ones for the Watcher and Davros last year) were deliberately planted to leave a false trail.

So is the info about John Simm and John Barrowman appearing in the series finale a crock of s**t or not I wonder.
