I think what's going to put an end to Jo's turn on the show is the other women. Even when she had valid, sensible views on the latest project the others didn't even attempt to listen to her from the start - they've written her off because they can't get past the shrieking and crying. She wasn't a part of their discussions about the theme from the off.

She doesn't do herself a lot of favours though. I wouldn't want to work with her, she's intelligent and creative but she behaves too much like an excited three-year-old on Christmas morning....... screaming in excitement one moment and then sobbing the next. I was really shocked that she swore in front of Sir Alan too - don't know why exactly, I just was!

Nargit was certainly the one who deserved to be fired on that project, she was incredibly inept.

Ok maybe not an arsehole, he was getting led by the other two in the cab, but something about him annoyed me last night, unlike in last weeks show where he seemed nice.

A fact which suffered from the obvious problem that its almost certainly untrue. Most of 6 is 3+ million which only leaves less than 3 million cats for the 53 million people who live outside London and a cat for nearly every 2 Londoners. Its a shaggy dog story.....

Memo if you only have one line in your presentation apprentices make sure its actually true......

LOL.Hw true. I thought the wrong person went last week, but I'd have booted her backside out if she hadn't been ousted.

What a stuck up, totaly out of her depth imbecile she was. EURGH!

Now as Jo is the Project Manager next week, what do we rate her chances of a complerte breakdown, not just tears

The woman's a complete train wreck. Good grief it's unbelivable she hasn't had a heart attack yet.

Or maybe it's the editing? I never trust programmers like those on this show to accurately portray an accurate picture.of a rounded person.

I didn't realise Jo is to be the next project manager. She'll either be brilliant at it, or she'll get everyone else's hackles up and be duly hanged..........

Self-appointed? I'll go with the execution scenario then.

Thing is, she'll probably have quite good ideas - just a problem with getting those ideas across to the fluffy-kitten brigade.

Last year Sugar only sacked two Project Leaders. He seemed to have a lot of sympathy for the leader, and no sympathy for people who blame the boss. Even though this series he has sacked two PLs in a row, I think he made the right choice each time.

In general being Project Leader should be a good thing. If you win as PL, that's a great thing to have on your record. If you lose, at least you get some personal face time with Sugar in the boardroom. You have a chance to get noticed and impress him. You also get to pick two other people to go with you, and if you can't get one of them fired you deserve to lose anyway.

It's exactly the same thing with Apprentice US that it's just become so predictable.
The US version was different, because Trump usually did fire the leader. He wasn't as good at cutting through the crap as Sugar. He seemed to see it as a popularity contest.

Give me any eps of UK series 1 & any of Trump's series, there's not one PL who actually got away.
Err, that's rubbish about UK series 1. As I said, Sugar only fired the PL twice in a dozen or so eps. Even Trump only did it about half the time.

Now, that was interesting. I really like the way they edited last nights show, because I genuinely thought the boys were going to lose the task, even with the girls missing Tyre! Then when the girls come to elimination, I was sure as eggs that Jo was going to choose the two mouthy girls who she rowed with, to take into the firing line, but instead she took the two who stood by her! I was sure Karen would stay because she seemed to be playing a very good game. That sort of backfired didnt it? I knew that Sir Alan was not going to get rid of Jo, I think he likes the loudmouths to spar with! So for me it was a very interesting turn of events and not what I expected. Cant wait for next week now!

You're right, the editing was very good last night - I thought the guys had lost too!
I reckon that the reason Jo took her 2 teammates in was because bascially they mucked up - if she'd gone in with any of the other 3 (who had sourced 7 of the 10 items!) then she was asking for the chop.
I also think Jo was kept first and foremost because they know she is good tele (in the same way I think Sayeed would have been kept if the guys has lost).

Must say I am so looking forward to seeing the look on that girl's face who really, really dosen't get on with Jo (is it Ruth? - kitten callendar girl, anyway) when she walks back in!!

Oh I know! The look on some of their faces was classic when Jo walked through the door in last nights episode, no doubt those frowns and scouls will be bigger next week!

I HATE HATE HATE Ruth

I want her to be sacked, she point blank refuses to listen to Jo because she doesnt like her, and she made that decision in the first episode "all the girls are nice except one"

Ruth is poision and needs to be eliminated fast HATE HER

Ruth might be posion but your forgetting that theres 1 job for 1 person.

Pure standard cut throat business.

But at the sametime jo took a huge risk putting Karen & Alexa in the boardroom cos tbh it looked like 3 strong people and one of them had to fall.

If she was smart she could of put ruth in there & another person then her corner would of been easily fought

But it wont lastlong jo,s on a tightrope.

I saw it the other way around. the other team bought 7 items so Jo would have had to argue they couldn't work with her not that they failed. That would have raised the question why. That would either expose her as a failed leader or require Sugar to look at why their planning meeting didn't work which he doesn't seem interested in although its fundamental.

Placing the blame on her own team was potentially fatal as she was in control of it but was more credible than blaming the team who bought 7 items and she then put the responsibility for buying tyres onto Karen. All in all its very good strategy in a losing situation. Alexa escaped by looking keen and blameless enough .That left a Karen v Jo fight. karen didn't fight her corner by arguing that the time was lost in a rambling uncontrolled planning meeting and a long search for a dinner jacket before the point they went for the tyre - both of which were Jo's fault not hers. Jo fought her end Karen didn't. Nutter wins.

I agree, I really thought Karen would stay - but Sir Alan likes Jo and so Karen had to really impress him to stay over her - she was how she normally is, calm and collected, but that clearly wasn't enough. Brilliant series though - best thing on tv at the moment.

Sorry! I realised after I posted it what I had done! But had to dart off to work - I did send a request in to their feedback page though for an Apprentice forum - and no it wasn't me who posted if previously - I saw that - did the same then thought 'no that's not what they want' - my excuse is I was half asleep!

Had Karen defended herself I still don't think Jo would have been fired as she is good TV and is providing some entertaining friction. I think it would have been the end for Alexa instead. Sir Alan clearly likes Jo, he didn't ask her to justify all the various flaws in her project management but actually let her off fairly lightly.

Tonight will be interesting. I wonder if the other contestants will start to see her as a little invincible and stop taking her into the boardroom when on the losing team.
