Possible second series?

do you think there will be a 2nd series of DOI next year, hope there is, I've really enjoyed it.

considering how the ratings have been I think its a certainty - probably with more celebs and over a longer period of time

I'd love it if there was a second series, if Jayne and Chris were willing to do it.
The show is great and I'd probably still watch a second series if they weren't doing it, but I don't know how long I'd enjoy it for.
They are probably about 75% of the reason I watch the show, so if they decide on a second series and can't get those two back, they'll have to do a lot of impressing to keep me interested

I think there will definitely be a second series.
Maybe next time they can show us a bit more from when they first start training.
Maybe a few weeks before the live shows there could be a once a week show telling us all about who is taking part etc.
And more emphasis on the pros!
Although this has got better in the last few weeks.

they'd need to sort out the voting first. and sack Jason - he admitted that Bonnie and Gaynor are his faves. Didn't anyone tell him judges should be impartial.

Tonight Phillip said Dancing on 2006...thats the first time that i recall them refering to it as that, which does indicate the possibilitie of another series next year

I read that Adele Silva has been begging to be one of the contestants in the second series of Dancing On Ice!

I think there will be another series as the ratings have been so good for this one . But, as people have said, if Torvill and Dean weren't able to take part it might make a difference.

I so agree with you he surely must have signed his death warrant (as far as a 2nd series judge) tonight with the bias voting towards Bonnie.

Adele Silvas please let it not be true

Micheal Le Vell (Kevin Webster), TPT and Adele Silva have expressed an interest. Kirsty Gallacher also said she'd like to try it so plenty of people have come forward...they shouldn't have trouble finding any celebs for this

If they do a second series they're going to have to get rid of all this padding they've had tonight. Unlike SCD where when there are less couples they done more routines, each couple here has only done one, slightly longer routine and we've ended up with a lot of yawn worthy filler.

Also they need to do something to make each week less samey. Bit like they did with Vegas week and the props. The weeks need to have some sort of themeing to them.

Hope so, but only if they get their voting and judging system sorted out so next time there's none of this inconsistency that we've been seeing.

I also thought that a second series is on the cards when Phillip said DOI2006

It would be fantastic if we had alonger run, I can't believe its going tobe finished after next week

What will we do without this on our screens

I really hope there is a 2nd series. I have absolutely loved watching the ice skating, especially seeing Torvill and Dean skate again. I wish I could get a DVD of Torvill and Dean ice skating.

I would also like to see the pros mentioned and given more time as they have been sidelined the whole of the series apart from this week and last week.

I really don't mind who becomes a contestant next year as the most unlikely people quickly become your favourites, reagrdless of who you started off supporting.

Please, please, please get rid of Steven Mulheasrne he completely spoils Defrosted.

I agree the pros should be given more airtime (it has been gradually improving over the series) and I don't mind who is a contestant as long as it isn't Tara P T.

I also agree that Stephen Mulhern needs to start watching DOI properly and doing more research (and get rid of that awful disguise as the commentator in Defrosted and Chu - that is rubbish)

Keep Philip Schofield but ditch Holly and most definitely keep Torvill and Dean - would not be worth watching without them.

Agree that Holly needs to go,( what is it with her and those awful dresses that do nothing for her figure! Im not sizist in the least but surely someone must tellher they don't suit her!), Phillip can stay ,he seems genuinely enthusiastic about the programme.

Chu and the commetnator must definitely go, at the very least it makes you appreciate kate Thornton and Ben Shepherd for their behind the scenes work on Pop Idol and X Factor when they hold it together effortlessly.

More quality content less fluff please!

A second series is a certainty. This has been a huge ratings success for ITV. A few of the 'faults' from this series may also be rectified when the second series begins. I also believe there will be more celebrities and professionals taking part though the celebrities will have to be willing to give up a lot of their time to practice.

I hope if there is a 2nd series it runs a little longer or we have longer skating routines and more Jayne and Chris skating each week

Add my voice to the clamour for another series.

I think I read somewhere that Jayne said she would very much like to do a second series because it would mean spending more time with her best friend (Chris, obv!). Aww!

Wouldn't it be lovely if the contestants did a tour like X Factor!

I wonder if Jayne and Chris will bring out a touring Ice show now that they are back in the public eye and immensely popular - would be fantastic if they did.

2nd series would be good.. Bonnie replacing Jason as the "Dance" expert judge...
