I don't get why people are so snobbish about thread content. Unless we have a thousand page long soap continuity thread, then what's wrong with a new one about this? I'd rather have a thread about a perceived continuity error than six about the latest Daily Star spoiler because no one has bothered to check if there already *is* a thread.

I'm outraged that such a culinary faux pas can be allowed to
pass the stringent tests of dinner etiquette. Who would have been vulgar enough to put soup on a plate? it is unheard of in the circles that I frequent, and they are not even fully fledged Toffs, <just slightly toffee, but sweet with it> I bet the hosts didn't even wave the left breast of a virgin over the first serving. A well known custom that is said to bring great fortune to all those that attend such a soiree. I hope these practices will be implemented in future and we might then all begin to get over the 'mushroom soup on a plate' contretemps. I pray for you. |
