Oh bloody hell, lets be honest here - he was awful and embarassing and that was one of the most rambling, pointless episodes I've had the pleasure to watch in the last 21 years

He is wicked and fits in nicely! I can see hiom getting together with either Mo or Pat. But I bet he has something to do with Joe's fraudelent past. I can see some of his family coming into it in the future too!

I don't like him, his flirting with Yolande freaked me out a little.

I must get a different regional edit or something. It was crap. Bert was crap.

What was with Sonia and Martin? She's all over him, then she's sulking in the restaurant because he wants to get home for a shag and then she's all over him again.

Phil is there 2 minutes and he's everyoner's best friend. Hello?

Pat cooking (even if it is tinned soup) for the whole just-add-bullshit family???

Londoners bothering to point out that someone is from oop north?? Almost as bad as the Irish episodes a few years back.

Yet another aimless, pointless episode, almost saved by Bradley/Stacey (although the will they won' they chase stuff is dragging right now).

Overall: 1/5

Crap crap crap crap and embarassing.

I have to agree there. He and the episode tongiht was really pointless. There was nothing in it tonight that hasnt all ready been said and done apart from his arrival.

Stacey and Bradley has been done and it was repeated what we have allready seen.

Very bad for a Friday episode as normaly they are my favourites along with Monday's.

Terrible I think Eastenders are trying to copy corrie when they had Ian McKellen as Mel Hutchwright, both were rubbish!

Dave Hill's not exactly in the same class as Ian McKellen plus Bert is staying unlike Mel.

They did for an affair with Den, then they stripped her of her uniform, put her in a parlour with Chrissey, cut her hair and kicked her out again! Quite right too, the hussy.

Why? So they'd have to use freaking subtitles so that those in the South who can speak clearly can understand what they're saying?

Yup! If ever a woman needed some loving, it's Big Mo. Come on scriptwriters, let her sample Burt's charms!!!
