OK Bonnie could wear clogs for the amount of time she spends on the ice, but her performance is very gutsy and she's not in the least (publically) bitchy about the others.
David makes my heart fly to my throat wondering how he's going to maim his partner this week, but his skating has improved so much and he's such a nice man.
And Stefan and Gaynor are like the boy and girl next door.
I'm going to feel down about whoever goes out tonight, what a horrible time to go; no one likes to come 4th do they?

i cant wait i like all 4 aswel think they are all good but i think bonnie should go tonite (well untill i see her i cant really decide) but recently shes been doing the least amount of skating just lifts and that wont help her in bolero. i really really want stefan to win so if he goes i think i might cry

After watching professionals this week in winter olympics there is just no point to it now so i wont watch again. :yawn:

The point of Dancing on Ice is entertainment. It's not an olympic sport so don't expect that standard, just enjoy it for it's own sake.

Yes the Olympics have been fantastic, but it's taken those skaters years to become so brilliant. I for one greatly admire what all the celebs have managed to achieve in the time they've had. So what if it's not Olympic level skating - I mean what do you expect!? As it is it's inspired a lot of people of all ages to have a go and who knows maybe something will come from that for the future.

Oh and while I'm on about it. As we've all enjoyed watching the skating so much, how can we make sure the BBC keep on showing the major championships - the last four years have been terrible, hardly any skating on terrestrial TV at all, it's pay for Eurosport or get nothing! We have a really good dance couple in John & Sinead Kerr and they deserve support.

I think Bonnie will go tonight, but it's not true to say that she's done the least skating recently. Gaynor has hardly touched the ice in the past two weeks, and Bonnie was certainly skating a lot more last week.

I think all four celebrities are very evenly matched and I believe the final results will come down to personalities rather than performances. Gaynor's grace and smile will continue to work in her favour, while David is pretty much guaranteed the sympathy vote this week.

if it is i honestly cant see why theres all the bitterness towards Bonnie or Gaynor for 'not skating right' they have entertained me from the first week

just as its not all about the lifts i dont think its all about the right kind of skating either

i dont see it as an ice dancing comp because they dont ice dance, its a hybrid of all kinds of ice skating so i like the ones who entertain me with the best moves

why do you think in the real competitions the oohs and ahhs are heard when theres a good/unusual lifts and jumps


this programme is entertainment if pureists want to judge on skating alone they should be at the rink side when the real competitions are on

I truly like all the couples but Stefan and Kristina are my favourites. Having watched the European Championships and Olympics recently it's clear that the skating on DOI is an amalgamation of lots of different types of skating. Matt and Bonnie's lifts and spins certainly don't feature in ice dancing so like slappers r us said it's entertainment not skating for purists

I have NOT said some pretty harsh things about stephan, if you think they are pretty harsh i think someone needs to get a thicker skin

i have never said he is sh*te or said anything personal about him, but i do tend to take against all the hero worship of him just because 'he is fit'

i have said he could skate but i do not think he is the best, as i have said before the are ALL equal with David not being quite up there with the rest because of the problems of injury

Getting back to the subject of the thread

I do hope there are no fallers tonight, i think all deserve a clear routine

I don't see how anything i've said could be interpreted as worship of Stefan. I want him to do well because I believe he undeservedly found himself in the skate off 3 weeks running. I think it took guts to to keep coming back from the brink of departure, and IMO last weeks routine should have finished top of the leader board.

We can however agree on one thing - hope no one falls, and if there are any spills sincerely hope no one sustains an injury! They've all got guts.
