BT letters

I have recieved several letters from BT regarding a none existant line and service.

The first letter was about withdrawal of Eurobell dial up internet and that I had to choose another ISP and recommended BT Yahoo anytime.

The second letter was about nuicence calls made to a particular number.

The third letter was an actual bill registered in my name and address for £349.08p

The fourth letter was a red reminder.

The fifth letter was another red reminder.

The sixth letter was from BT saying they need to test the line and needed to send an engineer round to have a look.

The seventh letter was about the high level of incomming reverse charge calls being accepted.

The eighth letter was from a debt collection agency.

This is stupid since I contacted BT 3 times and told them that I wasn't a customer of theirs and I don't even have a BT line in the property!

Secondly, Eurobell doesn't even operate in my area and I am a Telewest customer.

Through contacting BT yesterday, I found out that they got someone elses order mixed up and they withdrew all the charges.

What a stupid thing to do.

Perhaps you should Bill B.T. for all the time you have wasted because of their mistake. If you do this don't forget to bill them in "duration minutes" and have a minimum charge for each occassion.

And then whoever reads the letter within BT will have a good laugh that someone wasted their time writing such a letter before passing it round their colleagues, each of whom will have a good laugh at it.

Read the other posts from m419, he has previously claimed that he is 'in discussion' with OFCOM about BTs connection charges.

The work 'Jackanory' springs to mind with this opening post.

Or a 6p per call connection charge for every call like Telewest!
