Of course she can skate! Well done Bonnie. It was hard losing any of them tonight - they're all so good.
She's bendy and can be carried through a performance. Apparently that's what they want from an ice skater/dancer.

Because the judges adore her even though the viewing public obviously see what they don't. I do hope the judges don't have the final say in this competition, everyone else might as well go home.

She did the best spin in the competition, how can you say she can't skate? Yes she is best at the lifts, so why not capitalise on that?

The judges do not have the final say next week THANKFULLY. Bonnie does not appear to have the public support now so hopefully it is between Stefan and Gaynor. Both of them have improved so much over the series, and I'd be happy for either of them to win. They both skate and spend a lot of time on the ice, travelling under their own steam not being pulled by their partner.
Bonnie in the skate off spent less than 15 seconds actually SKATING by her own power. The rest was either being held in the air by her partner, or being pulled or pushed round the ice by her partner. She is very graceful in the air, but should be after so many years as a dancer. Her abilities at SKATING are very poor.

Also the fact that she is able to make contact with the ice and skate in a confident way after being tossed through the air several times shows that her skating is damn good!

She should not be judged on improvement. She should be judged on her skating and she is substandard.

Once again consistency was lacking from the judge's decision. I thought it was suppose to be on the skate off performance, not their overall opinion of the skater like it was supposed to be when John was voted off.

Who are you comparing her too? Gaynor is in the air just as much but she didn't pull off the spin like Bonnie did.
Christina is the professional so we can't compare Bonnie and Christina.
Obviously Pam isn't going to attempt lifting David in the air - with or without that dodgy shoulder!
The sport is Ice Dancing, not ice skating and dance comes in many forms.

Probably helps that her partner is holding her the whole time - no solo skating at all, with the exception of the compulsary.

And she could have fallen over. It's a bit bitter around here! My first foray into this forum and savaged but can i say that they are all fab! I've really enjoyed this show and I never expected to!
She doesn't deserve to be in the final. David spent 100% of his time on the ice as well as having to keep his balance while lifting Pam in the air. I didn't see ONE mistake from him in that skate-off. Fine, Bonnie did a good spin but it was clearly a fluke... Plus the fact that she's a dancer and David is a footballer - do the math! With one exception, she was not on the ice for more than 2-3 seconds at a time.
Just because Bonnie looks good in the air, doesn't mean she's a good skater.
I'm very disappointed that David was gone and you could tell by the audience reaction that it was the wrong decision.

She's a good all round performer. Maybe that's what the judges are looking for? It's all I can think of.
