Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, yay!!! I don't really care they've gone to be honest, it was inevitable. But boy did they go out on a high! The audience cheering like that was awesome!

Pam & David are the best, they're so cute!! "She's a bossy little Scot!"

They did indeed pull it off. They skated really well, and performed some lovely lifts. David did the lifting whilst skating across the ice.

On the other hand, Bonnie was lifted into the air and Matt did the skating. Which was the more difficult movement?

Bonnie is very graceful; in her lifts but that is NOT skating. She will make a right mess of Bolero unless it has been re choreographed to add many over head lifts. In which case it is just another routine to Ravel's Bolero, not what was advertised (or insinuated) as the finalists skating Torvill and Dean's Bolero.

I never thought of that. Judging from the way ITV have swerved round issues with this program so far, I wouldn't be surprised if they do have each skater doing their own routine to the music of Bolero. Not the actual Olympic winning routine T&D performed.

They did a fantastic skate-off performance... The best performance of the night IMO. I almost shed a tear when they managed to do the head-banger... but I could hardly watch!!!

I was really nervous, but delighted when David managed the spin. I think he did more than enough to have made the final.

I was very nervous at the end of their skate off routine, but so pleased they finally made it. It was a shame to see them go, and whilst Bonnie's skate off performance was good, for me David's skating impressed more than Matt lifting Bonnie.

I loved the audience's reaction during the skate-off, what a fantastic reception and praise for them both when they have given somuch each week to compete and entertain us.

A real shame they went.

David & Pam's performance in the skate off was brilliant. I am so glad that they finally managed the spin. It's a real pity that they had to go tonight. I think Bonnie relies too much on the lifts and spins and when it comes to actual skating you can tell she isn't very confident on the ice.

I think David & Pam's relationship is better than Bonnie & Matt's. I'm sure B&M get on great, but there's something about D&P, like Dan & Gaynor. They just make sweet couples!!! There's a chemestry.

I doubt it would be possible to even attempt the T&D routine since the skills just aren't there.

I'm surprised that anyone actually thought that next week would be a re-creation of a Gold Medal winning performance.

Like you evilfish,I think the only similarity will be the music.

I couldn't watch the head banger either. Much as I think he deserved to go through, it's a relief neither of them will hurt themselves again.

David and Pam certainly went out on a high last night, their skate off, or as David said, play off!! was the best I'd seen them skate, well done to you both, I shall miss you though.

I was so pleased that they managed to pull the headbanger off. Sad to see them go though. The audience reception was nice to see as well.
